Thank You Monique for my October Package

Thank you Monique for my October package, I got some yummy yarn and sorry to say the cup was broken, boo hoo...I also got some fall candles, lip gloss, crochet hook, and tea and dip mix. I am waiting for the pattern and recipes as Monique said she sent them out separately. Thank you, I can't wait to see what the yarn is for so I can make it.

Thank you again Robin

Thank you Robin for the 2nd package of the rest of my Nov swap things. I got pretty handmade potholders and love the Apron... :) I didn't see your traditions written down and I think you emailed me them.. :)

If anyone else has forgotten to include their traditions, please go ahead and email them to your partner...

Thank you, Shawnee!

Shawnee wisely knew I would not have the time to make the project for Thanksgiving in time. How she knew I had 2 Thanksgiving dinners to cook, a bake sale fundraiser to run as well as meet deadlines at work, I have no clue. But I did and her generous package arrived after Thanksgiving, giving me a whole year to work on it. I received this last Friday but this is the first chance I had to post anything. I think I will applique some leaves or maybe stamp some leaves on the apron. Believe it or no, the thin mints did manage to make it to the photo shoot. The potholders (one silicone, one made like an acorn) are really cool.
Thanks so much, Shawnee!

Thank you soooo much for your wonderful package. I couldn't wait to make the turkey hanger asn so I did. As I have had a lot of sitting time at the hospital. I just love it!!!
The leaves were so pretty and a wonderful touch, I loved the pattern booklet for many holidays, the coffee, and all the notions and yarn to make my project "Turkey" were great! Thanks soooo much...
And as you can see he is the cutest Turkey!
He is larger than he appears about 10" tall. Fun to make.....

About the Monthly Swaps

I just wanted to say we have some wonderful packages this month...everyone is sending some great ones.... Just a reminder that before you mail out your packages be sure to read what it is suppose to contain....the Oct one was to have some recipes and the Nov a note about your Turkey Day traditions.....All the Nov partners are assigned so you can start looking what needs to be in this month's package, and remember this is a holiday month so it would be a good idea to try and get your packages mailed before Thanksgiving....Happy Swapping!!!

Thank You Dorothy!

I received this great package from Dorothy today. The Patons Wool is one I have had my eye on for awhile but never bought because it always seemed like I needed other colors for swaps. Now I have it all for myself! She sent me lots of other goodies also. There is/was a box of Goobers until my daughter took them.
Also a cute loaf pan, candles(love the apple strudel one especially), some tic tacs, great recipes, memo pad, circular needle to go with the patterns for hat and scarf she sent, and some Sugar and Cream cotton in a pretty color.

Also received these gorgeous stitch markers which she made. Aren't they pretty.
Thank you again Dorothy! I really enjoyed this package!

Look what Debb sent me!

The picture doesn't show everything as nicely as I had hoped! (Kids grabbing at things -had to to take it quickly!) Debb sent some BEAUTIFUL pink alpaca blend yarn. It feels so warm and cozy, and it's going to look beautiful in the pattern that she sent. There's also a GORGEOUS mug, which I realize is hidden in this picture. There's an adorable Halloween cross-stitch, and a pumpkin bath sponge, as well as 2 bath "squishys". There were also buttons and decorative beads, and these beautiful stitch markers:

Thank you, Debb, for such a wonderful package, and for hosting this swap!
