It most definitely is a lovely package. Look at all the wonderful treats I received. First a very funny card. I love the twisted cat photos. Some very nice treats. I love the rain hat and I love steel drum music. How did you know? I am going to want to play it in my new yard after I move.
AND some more lovely treats. Those stickers are adorable. When I send out a swap I will use them to make a nice card for the recipient.
A pattern for a love bug and all the materials to make it.
AND another pattern for a bag.
AND a story.
I may have had to wait for it for a while but it was worth the wait. I now have a project to make for next Valentines Day. A love bug. I haven't read the story yet but I plan to this weekend.
Thank-you Deb for being my angel.
I will post photos on my blog this weekend with more photos of my furtoddler Solara.

Here we go. Now you can see Robin B spoiled me beyond all belief. I will warn you that the truffle box was empty by the time this picture was taken;)
There's a pattern and beads (I love the marble beads!)to make a purse with the yarn to do it with. Along with some cute cat paw material to line it with it. There's a s'mores candle with a candle warmer, the Interweave Press "Crochet" magazine, some bath gel, hand creme and body spray all in the same scent (tangerine), there's a little tub of rubber stamps, some blank cards to make cards with, 2 small bags, a dishtowel and 2 washcloths and blue ribbon to make the bunny towel.
Plus besides getting all this great stuff, my older cat Spike got a new place to sleep - he thought the new box (it is _huge_ and so is Spike) was for him.
I really do appreciate this, Robin, more than I can possibly say. This was delivered just after I came home from the vet's from having to put my bunny down. It definitely brought a smile to my lips and I do really appreciate all the thought you put into this huge gift box. Thank you so much.

There is cotton yarn in lovely spring colours, a pretty box containing CHOCOLATE, a crochet corsage and a bag of buttons. Two washcloths are in there and some of those wonderful patterned paper handkies I love. The picture of them is very poor but they are covered in sheep. I also got a book of modern patterns and a vintage booklet of wonderful designs.
I wonder what my grandaughter would say if I made this???????

May = Mom's Day month, Trivia: Mother's Day is intended to be a day to celebrate motherhood. Many churches and families in the United States recognize the second Sunday in May to honor mothers. In 1914, President Woodrow Wilson signed a joint resolution of Congress recommending that Congress and the executive branch of government recognize the observance of Mother's Day.
You will send your partner:
- A pattern for 1 project, EX: shawl or shrug, or cape, or poncho
- Enough yarn for the project
- All the notions required
- A Mother's Day card or a birthday card [for your partner to use, so do not write in it]
- A package of seeds and a small pot
- A photo album
- An "old times" good Mother's Day DVD movie, like Gone with the Wind, or An Affair to Remember, or an old Betty Davis movie, there are tons that are priced $1 and some in black and white [try any Kmart or Walmart for cheaper prices]
If you do not comment here you will not be in the swap...
